Conscious Homestead's 1st Annual Opening Harvest Weekend of CelebrationWe are thrilled to open the season in community on the homestead beginning Friday, May 27th through Monday, May 30th; save the dates!
Last year we closed our "soft launch" season having offered close to 300 FREE Community Care Shares of organic homestead grown produce, culinary and medicinal herbs, preserved and fermented foods (ie. fire oven roasted tomato paste and crushed tomatoes, nettle pesto and more) as well as prepared foods from the homestead (ie. fire roasted peach cobblers, zucchini breads and granola). We launched our paid BIPOC Grow Team Fellowship that was a huge success. We offered a variety of FREE workshops/classes and skill-shares to BIPOC in the community. And we built this entire space from the ground up all together in community with the funds that we collectively raised. As we prepare to re-open the homestead for its first FULL season of offerings under our new membership system from classes, workshops, skill shares, another season of paid fellowships in food & land sovereignty for BIPOC, FREE community care shares, retreats, private yoga and reiki, book club, BIPOC business cohort and soooo much more we want to jumpstart our season in celebration. Opening Harvest Celebration, just like End of Harvest Celebration, is also a fundraising event. Funds received from the tickets sold will be divided between both Conscious Homestead and Marigold House in Winooski. Conscious Homestead will allocated funds raised towards sponsoring memberships for BIPOC to receive all the benefits from seasonal memberships at the homestead and Marigold House will allocate funds towards renovations that will enable the space to open in the Fall. |

Does one align with your spirit the most? Feel free to bring an object that connects with any of the elements. These objects will each be a part of a collective altar, honoring our relationships with the land.
